About the job

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Executive / Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to our General Legal Counsel. This role combines the responsibilities of a paralegal with those of a personal assistant, requiring a candidate who is adept in legal administration, possesses strong interpersonal skills, and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Support:

• Assist the General Legal Counsel in preparing legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and other legal correspondence.

• Conduct legal research and summarize findings to aid in case preparation and strategy development.

• Maintain and organize the digital and physical legal filing system.

• Monitor legal regulations and ensure compliance with laws and corporate policies.

Administrative Duties:

• Manage the General Legal Counsel’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

• Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.

• Prepare and edit documents, presentation materials, and correspondence.

• Serve as a liaison between the Legal Department and other departments, external counsel, and stakeholders.

Project Management:

• Coordinate and track the progress of ongoing legal cases contracts and agreements.

• Prepare reports and updates for senior management.

• Organize and archive all legal documents and files related to completed and ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Paralegal Studies, or related field.

• Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant; experience as a personal assistant is a plus.

• Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and the legal process.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
