– 8+ years of total experience in HR, with at least 5 years in benefits, compensation, or payroll management.
– Experience working in a startup environment is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits and payroll.
Insight Global is looking for a Benefits Manager on-site in Irvine, CA for an aerospace startup. The Benefits Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s Total Rewards program, which includes managing benefits for the entire company, payroll oversight, and compensation. The ideal candidate will have startup experience and a strong background in benefits, compensation, and payroll management.
Responsibilities include:
Benefits:
– Design, implement, and manage comprehensive benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
– Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
– Conduct regular benefits audits and assessments to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
– Provide guidance and support to employees regarding benefits enrollment and utilization.
Payroll Oversight:
– Oversee the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
– Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proper payroll accounting and reporting.
– Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
– Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Compensation:
– Develop and manage compensation structures, including salary ranges, incentive programs, and performance-based pay.
– Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation practices.
– Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement compensation strategies.
– Monitor and analyze compensation trends to make data-driven recommendations.
Salary Range: $147,000 – $160,000
