About the job
Our Client seeks a Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Managing Director the Finance Manager would have excellent time management, an eye for detail and commercial awareness. Strong management experience and SME background. This is a newly created position, prospects to join the board as Finance Director in the future.
Duties of the Finance Manager include:
- Manage a team of accounting professionals.
- Head of finance and accounting team
- Act as Financial Counsel to executive management.
- Delivery of comprehensive financial reports
- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts.
- Manage all aspects of Treasury and cash flow.
- Report on budgets, expenses, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Business plan development based on finance reporting.
- Budget management and reporting
- The collection and interpretation of financial data
- Advise senior management on financial issues.
- Anticipate future trends in finance.
- Analyse current market trends
- Analyse competitor activity
- Implement controls and procedures.
- Ad-hoc projects.
Requirements for the Finance Manager include:
- Accountancy qualification – CIMA, ACA, or ACCA
- A degree in one of the following academic areas: Accounting & Finance, Mathematics, Management, Business Studies, or Economics.
- Excellent time management

- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in negotiation.
