Job Title: Financial Controller Location: Central London (Office-based) Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience) Our client, a dynamic and growing company based in Central London, with a focus on healthcare sector. The team is passionate about what they do and is committed to delivering exceptional results. They are looking for a Financial Controller to join their team and help achieve their ambitious goals. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting and finance function, including processing the day-to-day finance transactions of the business. You will also be responsible for monthly reporting activities and ensuring that information is presented in a meaningful, transparent, and timely manner. Additionally, you will produce management packs with commentary on any findings with regards to variances and monthly accounts, produce monthly management accounts for all business entities along with a consolidated version, and produce monthly cash flow statements. You will also be involved in operations team and Finance Department special projects, annual budget setting, reporting roll-out, finance systems process improvements, modeling work, and any other general requirements. You will be responsible for the month and year-end processes for departmental budgets, including the posting of accurate accruals, prepayments, and deferred income, and to reconcile and provide commentary on any variances to budget and forecast.

  • Producing monthly cash flow statement You will also work closely with the operations team on special projects, annual budget setting, reporting, finance systems process improvements, modeling work, and any other general requirements. Our client wants to see someone who is driven, demonstrates leadership skills, is practical, commercial, down-to-earth, direct, open-minded but shares robust well-thought opinions, and generally loves work. You should have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in Xero or a similar accounting system. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are hugely important, and an ability to work well under pressure. A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) is desirable but not essential. Benefits:
