Key Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and other phlebotomy procedures with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and assist in minor medical treatments as required.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using our electronic medial record software.
  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and documentation of laboratory specimens.
  • Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, medical history, and addressing concerns.
  • Provide patient education and instructions regarding procedures and follow-up care.
  • Uphold infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Support the provider during consultations and procedures, ensuring seamless workflow.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in phlebotomy, with proficiency in blood draws and specimen handling.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create a positive patient experience.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a busy medical setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
