Our client is an award-winning design & digital communications agency involved in financial wellbeing & branding. The London-based firm is part of a highly-successful UK-wide group specialising in Retirement Planning and Financial Education.
As our client’s company continues to grow and flourish, a requirement has arisen for a New Business Development Manager. The position offers the option of hybrid working.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Client Services Director, the New Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development and management of new business. The role’s key duties will include:
- Delivering new business sales target as defined by Client Services Director
- Developing and managing the new business contact plan to support the delivery of sales targets activities
- Managing the follow up of new business leads to arrange initial and follow up appointments
- Managing all follow up activity from events attended including those attended by the overall company’s team to maximise sales opportunities
- Taking the lead in any response to tender applications
- Managing and developing your new business contact plan to support the delivery of sales targets activities including pipeline development and activity planning & management
- Attending industry networking events and conferences to build connections and stay up-to- date on trends
- Keeping up to date on employee benefit market developments in particular employee wellbeing, workplace pensions and share schemes
- Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients by understanding their needs and challenges
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for the New Business Development Manager vacancy must have the following criteria:
- Possesses a good understanding of UK pensions (DB & DC)
- Strong experience of working in Financial Wellbeing (either for a Tech, Agency or Financial Services company)
- 5+ years’ experience in a sales, business development or consultancy lead environment managing new business activity
- A proven track record of successful new business management
- Hungry to succeed, highly motivated, creative and entrepreneurial
- Live a commutable distance from London Bridge
REMUNERATION / PACKAGE
- Up to £65,000 (depending on experience)
- Lucrative bonus scheme
