The Product Management group performs internal and external analyses, makes insightful recommendations, designs solutions, develops products, and implements strategies that address complex business issues to achieve company goals. The LoL PC Cosmetics team serves to create all the cosmetic content within League PC which drives revenue and deepens affinity for the IP for the game. As a Senior Game Product Manager on the League of Legends PC Cosmetics team, you will help create a strategy for what new and existing cosmetic content we should invest in – and be accountable for bringing that strategy to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of long-term product strategy and work with analytics, product, and design teams to improve League of Legends’ cosmetic content ecosystem
  • Partner with product teams to prioritize their efforts – accounting for delivery timelines, engagement impacts, and opportunity costs
  • Communicate strategic recommendations and product outcomes to business leaders and decision makers
  • Ensure that monetization opportunities are integrated seamlessly into the game’s content pipeline
  • Analyze player data, feedback and product results to inform decisions in a test and learn iteration loop
  • Analyze current spender ecosystem and game economy to make recommendations for new cosmetic content types
  • Own and drive on development of said new cosmetic content types
  • Partner with designers and product owners across the game to guide design and product strategy decisions in a way that supports player-focused monetization
  • Strategize and optimize the roadmap of cosmetic content for a global audience with different tastes

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year experience in video game production, product management, consulting, or business strategy for consumer-facing products
  • Experience advising teams by applying a combination of a broad & deep gaming background, game design craft, and product strategy thinking
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or analytics for a gaming company
  • Focus on data-driven decision making or solving problems with incomplete information in the absence of data
  • Ability to break down complex problems and problem spaces using various business or product frameworks and crafting optimal solutions for our players and our business
  • Self motivated, and has a desire to work with people to navigate through ambiguity
  • Experience working with game teams, including designers, engineers, artists
  • Experience conducting and socializing competitive analysis of game monetization design and distilling results into impactful recommendation
  • Experience using data to aid in conceptualizing, designing, and shipping a brand new monetization product, distribution mechanism, or system within the games

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience conceptualizing, designing, and shipping a brand new monetization product, distribution mechanism, or system within the games industry
  • Experience working for a games as a service type game model
  • Experience leading complex efforts with multiple collaborators
