Location: Wellesley, MA 02481
Pay Rate: Up to $28/Hr. (Based on Years of Exp.)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Overview:
Join a busy primary care practice where the medical assistant (MA) will support both administrative and clinical responsibilities. You will assist in rooming patients, taking vital signs, performing EKGs, managing prior authorizations, and providing patient education. Certification and BLS are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Rooming patients and taking vital signs.
Performing EKGs and handling prior authorizations.
Educating patients on relevant health matters.
Performing administrative duties as needed.
Ensuring compliance with practice protocols and patient care standards.
Requirements:
Medical assistant certification is required.
BLS certification is required.
Must have current COVID vaccines, booster, and the 2024-2025 flu vaccine at the time of submission (declinations not accepted). An attestation will be accepted if the flu vaccine is pending but must be received prior to the start date.
