Searcys are seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team at one of their Central London locations.

Job Description
As a Head Chef at Searcys, you will be in one of the leading roles across our business. Working closely with our Group Development Chef, you will create and deliver the finest quality menus and dishes that are synonymous with our Searcys signature style.

Responsibilities:
- To manage the day to day operation of the kitchen, ensuring the smooth running of the department.
- To create seasonal and bespoke menus for Searcys events and Brasseries in line with Clients requirements.
- Supporting the team, training and mentoring all chefs and allowing them to grow for the future.
- To monitor on a daily basis the standards achieved in each area and report to the Executive Chef or Group Exec any areas of concerns.
- To liaise with the General Manager and Operations Director on all venue based strategies and activities.
- To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, the COSHH regulations, etc. within the areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Be driven by people and delivering the highest quality of food.
- Exemplary kitchen management practices and being an ambassador for Searcys legacy brand.
- Maximising commercial opportunities for the venue and Searcys.
- Innovative and inspiring culinary ideas for events and restaurant menus.
- Create a professional working environment for the team ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met.
- Previous experience as a Head Chefin Events, Hotel or high end restaurants.
- Proven track record of report writing and financial management.
- Excellent mentoring and communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving and excellent understanding of Health and Safety practices.
