Are you an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic eager to take on more responsibility by joining a growing company where you will work on a wide range of machinery and equipment that are vital to projects?

This role would lead to training and developing other mechanics, passing on your knowledge and managing your own team. With overtime there are opportunities to achieve exceptional earnings.

This rapidly expanding Civil Engineering firm deliver projects and services ranging from large scale heavy civil to earthworks and utilities. In this role you will be responsible for the preventative and emergency repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment used for large scale civil projects. Utilizing your skills and experience to ensure the projects run smoothly and train those below you.

The Role

  • Lead and coordinate major repair projects and equipment overhauls.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Provide technical training and support to Level B and Level C mechanics

The Person

  • Experience with a wide variety of fleet vehicles
  • Knowledge of SCR/After-Treatment troubleshooting
  • Experience with automotive tools and equipment
  • Valid Florida driver’s license
