Job Overview:

We are seeking a ServiceNow Discovery Specialist to implement, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow Discovery module. This role is critical in automating IT asset and service discovery across the enterprise environment, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure the ServiceNow Discovery module to automate IT asset and service discovery.
  • Maintain and optimize the CMDB to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate discovery processes with existing IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot discovery issues, resolve errors, and ensure seamless operation of the module.
  • Analyze and report on discovery results to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations to improve CMDB data quality and performance.
  • Work closely with ServiceNow platform teams to align discovery solutions with organizational goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience implementing and configuring the ServiceNow Discovery module.
  • Strong understanding of Configuration Management Databases (CMDB) and IT asset management.
  • Solid background in IT infrastructure (servers, networking, cloud services, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain discovery processes.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow platform capabilities and related modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze technical data.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
