The Technical Sales Associate must possess confidence, strong initiative, and the ability to make and own decisions. Ideal candidates will be quick to adapt to changing conditions and adept at coming up with practical solutions. This role demands self-assurance, a competitive drive, and the ability to build relationships that benefit the business. There is a consistent need for high-quality, organized, and repeatable results. The responsibilities are broad, encompassing a wide variety of activities and requiring frequent shifts in priorities. Effective communication and sales skills are critical for a business development associate.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with contractors, developers, and the design community.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand sales with existing and potential clients.
- Offer technical guidance to customers, highlighting the benefits of pre-cast concrete products.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and the internal team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution.
- Track and record sales activities.
- Represent the company at trade shows.
- Travel throughout Ontario as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Technical Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and guidance.
- Strong skills in communication, presentation, and negotiation.
- Sales experience is a valuable asset.
- Proficient in 3D modeling with Tekla.
- Knowledgeable in CRM, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience in the Precast Concrete Industry.

- Excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
