Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator in the Motor Freight Forwarder industry, based in Jacksonville, Florida. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal functionality and security of all computing devices within our organization. This role involves direct interaction with users to resolve hardware-related issues and requires a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain all computing devices, including desktop computers, handheld devices, printers, and other related technology.
- Ensure all devices are functioning optimally, are updated, and meet the organization’s performance and security standards.
- Manage hardware proactively, including monitoring and resolving issues via system alerts.
- Provide excellent customer service, understanding that replacing a person’s machine can be stressful and alleviating this by being thoughtful and proactive in anticipating user needs.
- Maintain meticulous inventory management and adhere to refresh cycles to uphold the organization’s operational efficiency.
- Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Dell Technologies, Firewall Technologies, and more to perform duties effectively.
- Implement AB Testing and Cluster Analysis to improve system performance.
- Administer Active Directory and Backup Technologies to ensure data integrity and security.
- Support desktop applications, desktop as a service, and desktop deployment.
- Manage and resolve issues related to Mac OS, Mac Computers, Windows 11, and other computer hardware.
- Handle issues related to multi-function printers and label printers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Cisco Technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Citrix Technologies.
- Experience with Cloud Technologies is required.
- Familiarity with Dell Technologies.
- Proficiency in Firewall Technologies.
- Experience with AB Testing is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Backup Technologies.
- Ability to perform Cluster Analysis.
- Strong understanding of Computer Hardware.
- Experience with Intune is a plus.
- Proficiency in Mac OS and Mac Computers.
- Knowledge of Windows 11 is essential.
- Experience in Desktop Support, Desktop Administration, Desktop Applications, Desktop as a Service, and Desktop Deployment.
- Knowledge of Multi-function Printers and Label Printers is necessary.
