Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team and work with our client. candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing cloud infrastructure, applications, and microservices. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and expertise in technologies like Java, Python, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, and API/Microservices.

Duties

  • Design and develop cloud-native applications on Azure and OpenShift platforms.
  • Build and optimize batch jobs for efficient processing and scheduling.
  • Implement real-time data exchange systems for high availability and low latency.
  • Develop message flows leveraging IBM MQ CP4i to ensure seamless data communication across systems.
  • Configure and maintain OpenShift for deploying and managing containerized workloads.
  • Monitor and maintain application performance and health using Azure Monitor.
  • Use Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent deployment and scalability.
  • Collaborate on integration projects using Informatica CAI/CDI to enable smooth data transformations and flows.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience
  • Proficiency in Java for back-end development and API integrations.
  • Strong experience with IBM MQ CP4i for managing message flows.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift for container orchestration and deployment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Monitor for application performance monitoring.
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Familiarity with Informatica CAI/CDI for integration and data processing tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Azure Developer Associate or related fields.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of enterprise-grade data exchange patterns and best practices.
