Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team and work with our client. candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing cloud infrastructure, applications, and microservices. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and expertise in technologies like Java, Python, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, and API/Microservices.
Duties
- Design and develop cloud-native applications on Azure and OpenShift platforms.
- Build and optimize batch jobs for efficient processing and scheduling.
- Implement real-time data exchange systems for high availability and low latency.
- Develop message flows leveraging IBM MQ CP4i to ensure seamless data communication across systems.
- Configure and maintain OpenShift for deploying and managing containerized workloads.
- Monitor and maintain application performance and health using Azure Monitor.
- Use Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent deployment and scalability.
- Collaborate on integration projects using Informatica CAI/CDI to enable smooth data transformations and flows.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Java for back-end development and API integrations.
- Strong experience with IBM MQ CP4i for managing message flows.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift for container orchestration and deployment.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Monitor for application performance monitoring.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with Informatica CAI/CDI for integration and data processing tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Azure Developer Associate or related fields.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Knowledge of enterprise-grade data exchange patterns and best practices.
