A reputable health network in New York is looking for a Nurse Manager to lead their Oncology Clinic in the Bronx. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for running the daily operations of a busy outpatient clinic. This role is more administrative, focusing on staff management and the needs of the clinic.
• Provides oversight for nursing and ancillary staff.
• Ensures high-quality care is provided to all patients in the clinic.
• Monitors patient outcomes and addresses any concerns.
• Addresses conflicts or challenges within the team.
• Coordinates staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Implements quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Reviews policies and procedures and ensures patient regulations are followed according to state regulations.
• Educates staff on current policies, procedures, and protocol.
• Coordinates patient care.
• Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate care.
• Adheres to quality and documentation standards.
• Orders supplies.
Job Qualifications:
• New York Registered Nurse License.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• 5 years of Acute RN experience including recent Oncology experience is required.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• ONC and BLS certifications are required.
