About the job

Supplemental Health Care is working with a school district in Columbus, Georgia to hire Occupational Therapists. For more than 30 years, we’ve specialized in helping healthcare professionals find the assignments that best fit their current needs and long-term career goals.

School-Based Occupational Therapist Contract Details:

– $3,000 assignment bonus available *conditions apply; ask recruiter for details

– Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results

– Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services

– Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals

– Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians

– Schedule follows the school district calendar

– Will provide occupational therapy services according to student IEP

– Assigned schools may include various grade levels

– May be asked to travel between school locations

Requirements

– Georgia Occupational Therapist License

– American Heart Association BLS

– Prior experience with pediatrics or in a school setting is preferred but not required
