We are looking for a customer-oriented, motivated individual to join our professional team as an Outside Sales Representative for our Pump & Power Division in Aldergrove, BC.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for prospecting new customers on jobsites and offices to drive rental revenues.
  • Follow-up leads generated from various sources.
  • Analyze customer needs and requirements, and present customers with equipment rental solutions.
  • Effectively manage and develop networking relationships.
  • Complete required paperwork and processes in an accurate and timely manner.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an outside sales role.
  • Pump and/or power knowledge is a definite asset.
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; a post-secondary diploma would be an asset but is not required.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract.
  • Highly driven for results with a customer and team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties at all levels of the organization in a professional manner.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as with a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to problem-solve effectively.
  • Passion for sales and customer service and a desire to learn and develop in the pump and power industry.
  • Comfortable with computers.
