Job Summary:

Join our team as a Radiology Tech, where you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and ensure exceptional patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Code STEMI Trauma Center and is perfect for individuals with strong technical skills, physical stamina, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under minimal supervision.
  • Document patient history and validate identity for each procedure.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media as required, consulting with radiologists and physicians.
  • Operate radiographic equipment, ensuring accurate anatomic positioning.
  • Maintain detailed records as per departmental standards.
  • Coordinate daily activities, including clerical tasks and patient interaction.

Physical Requirements:

  • Strenuous physical activity, including assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.
  • Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling to operate equipment.
  • Requires good vision, hearing (within 10 feet), and manual dexterity for precision work.
  • Adaptability to temperature, humidity changes, and various physical environments.

Education & Certifications:

  • Required:
  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology Program.
  • Current ARRT (R) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
  • Preferred:
  • Certifications in CVT, RTR, RCIS, or RECS.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle equipment and supplies efficiently.
  • Proficiency in managing patient safety and comfort.
  • 2+ years of Cath Lab experience preferred; IR experience is a plus.

Schedule:

  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Hours per Day: 12
  • Weekend-only shifts available.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range (Based on Experience): $31.55 – $51.20/hour.
  • Sign-on Bonus: $15,000 for full-time employees (paid in two installments at 90 days and 1 year).
  • Relocation Bonus: $5,000 (paid within 45 days).
  • Additional Incentives:
  • $5/hour critical bonus for regular hours worked.
  • $8/hour on-call pay (average 100 hours/month).
  • Overtime with an additional $17.66/hour when called in.
