About the job
Financial Services firm needs sharp Registered Sales Assistant to support a small office. This individual must have Series 7 & 66 or be willing to get them. Job duties are the following
· Back Office Support:
o Ticket and Settle trades
o Set up and coordinate wires/ach payments with banks, brokers and competition
o Liaison w/ Bank & customers
· Customer Service Support:
o Generate and assist in processing reports for customers, payment request.
o Provide first level assistance to customers with requests and questions
o Various compliance related items, such as deliver of official statements, and other needs of compliance officer and CFO.
· Office Manager:
o Coordinate equipment/catering/office supplies needs for firm.
o Assist in travel plans, meeting schedules, and other support roles for principals of firm
· Experience in back office processing for securities settlement, and/or banking operations.
· General knowledge on fixed income investments. Additional experience in municipal finance a big plus.
· Ability to multi-task, and work together as a team –player on various projects
· Understanding of various computer skills/programs. Job entails a lot of work in excel, power points, and other software.
· Integrity and good character
· Cooperative attitude and ability to work and communicate with others
· Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills
